Do not recommend. Way too many advertisements. Obviously the company is in financial distress or willing to piss off every customer they have left with non stop advertising. Like theres a fine line and Forbes has crossed it only caring about making money off of customers by selling advertisements. Go bankrupt sell to someone that has vision.
The app is utterly unwelcoming. The trial time lasts 2 minutes (yes, just 120 seconds. That is pretty much it) and offers just a few articles that can date back to 1992 (there is just one article from this year when I opened the app...). The bombarding advertisements are no better. Without paying for the magazine, costing nice 6 euros, or a year long access – dozens of euros – there is no way to see whether the app is worth it. The trial time is ridiculously short, the articles are not new at all, and the ads that require you to wait specific time before allowing you to cancel them, makes the app a misery. I enjoy reading Forbes, but the app is a failure if compared to any other app with news or even basic articles.
Is it a JOKE??
Your stupid stupid app doesnt word After your last update: trying to switch to PDF view produce a black page
But I love the magazine, I might just go overstay my welcome at the magazine stand.
I tried to obtain the digital subscription. I am a print subscriber. The digital subscription should be included for free. I have now tried to pay twice for the digital subscription and it still has not gone through. They do not even have a phone number you can call. This is one of the worst experiences of hat with an iPad app.as a follow-up, the app is very bad and freezes constantly.
Its not easy/fun to read by magazine edition without a search tool, plus a big timer pops up and only allows you to read for a 2 minute preview. Whats the point of the app?
The title says it all.
It not free they let you see for two minutes and then you have to pay .
App is not good.
App is just a means to sell you a magazine. Website does not work on Apple products--cant get past the silly welcome quote, and the app blocks you unless you have paid. Skip this.
Thought I would get access with subscription to magazine. Since I dont I will not subscribe to magazine again. Wonder how this is working out for them?
Not user friendly, cant search back issues. Uninstalled
Really??? A count down timer on the main screen for 2 minutes before you have to pay? No thanks. Ill stick to your not quite as junky website.
PDF function doesnt work, very slow. Cant access previous issues with annual subscription.
I dont have an annual subscription to Forbes magazine but I always read the articles on their website. Its awesome I can do that here regularly.
Dont even bother downloading this app. It gives you a huge timer with only 2 minutes to see the magazine. And they block a big portion of the pages with the countdown. They only want you to buy it for 6 bucks or get a years subscription for 30.
Save urself....
I love the new intuitive look and feel of the app, and I can still access the print version of the magazine. A good mix of website and the print version. Keep it up Forbes!
