Forbes Magazine App Reviews

You cant be serious

Wow! You need to pull this thing off the virtual shelves, fire anyone responsible for its design, completely rebuild it and re-release it. Ive never written an app review. But, I am so embarrassed for you I had to sign in and speak up.

Beyoncé is the Queen.

How come you estimate Queens net worth at 350 million in 2014 and 250 million while she earned more than 100 million this past year ? Your different staff are self-contradictory. Im extremely disappointed. That almost got her off the list.

Impossible to read offline

Very hard to use. The convergence of media with all the links is a royal pain in the neck.

Basically useless

Not sure why this app exists. You get way more functionality and usability by just visiting the website, even on a phone browser.

It a really good magazine

It awesome and so good right

One of the worst magazine apps !!!

It is absolutely mind bugling that Forbes with all the financial backing and smart writers cant manage the simple and workable app for the magazine. Somebody in the company needs overhaul the app - starting from simplifying the jumpy and overly crazy sharing set-up and finishing by making the magazine readable off-line. I love to read Forbes on my iPad or iPhone but every time it is a struggle with unnecessary app "features". It is apparent to me that nobody that matters in the magazine staff never actually tried to use their own app, otherwise they would flip the lid and change the development team.

Great App

Great app great magazine, handy and educative

Great Mag / Terrible App

This app has a crazy interface that tries to force the user to share content. Simply trying to zoom in or out and flipping pages is almost impossible. I cant wait for Forbes to rewrite this app and make a simple reader like every other magazine.

Horrendous

I am a long time Forbes print subscriber and software engineer and have given up trying to navigate this app. Please provide a simple way to navigate and return to TOC!!!!

Interface difficult to use

Concur with the other review about the app interface. Content is great but the app makes th app very difficult to use. Just slightly touching it pops up the interface that wants you to share, cut/copy content etc. I understand they want people to share content but it feels forced and that they are trying to hard to have people share. Will read mag on Next Issue until they updated app

Needs free access to digital

I bought the print edition Forbes a few years ago, but was put off that I had to pay extra for an iPad version. Just reviewed it again today and it still appears to be the case, so Im passing again.

Horrible Interface, A waste of Money

Forbes should pay us to endure the crashing, freezing, and constant share options that keep popping up on the page like spam ads. An additional 9.99$ per month is obscene and a low blow for this less than par app. Completely unexpected that Forbes would present something so shabby. Dont waste your money. Forbes please refund my money. Dont dont get this app. The magazine itself is looking a little weak lately also. Very little material on each page.

Good App

One of the better digital magazine apps available. Fast to download, easy to navigate. Works well on both all iPhones and iPads.

Bad.....

They just want you to download so you can buy the high priced magazine. Its cheaper in the store. No real content on this app.

Worst application I ever downloaded on App Store

Unbelievable. "Most powerful" created the lousiest one.

2 min. preview then $5.99 per month

Too bad because of Forbes great articles and commentary. I only got to read 1/2 of an interesting article about Walmarts green energy policies. They even have a countdown clock in the bottom right-hand corner that obscures the bottom 20% of reading area. They gave me 120 seconds to thumb through the pages including advertisements. Then everything went blank except a button to subscribe for $5.99 per month. I tried going to Forbes.com and found the same article for free plus I found lots of other interesting articles. I love Forbes magazine and recommend it highly. But I do not recommend the app because its a waste of time unless you just want to pay six bucks per month.

Worst app interaction

I like this meg. That is why I subscribed. But it has copy n paste function so when i tried to scroll down to read contents, it captures the screen and i have to click other part of screen to cancel that. I regret having a year subscription now. Unless they change it, i will not subscribe and will ask for refund. Fix it!!!

2 stars

Bad design and navigation

Forbes

Not a good app

TERRIBLE!!

I already subscribe to the magazine and they charge me ANOTHER $9.99 do view it on the app. Forbes is the ONLY magazine Ive encountered that does this.
